Circle Casting & Protection Ritual

🛡️ Purpose:

To establish energetic sovereignty before any working. This ritual calls in the four elemental powers and forms a sacred container — a boundary between the mundane and the magical.

This is the act of saying:

“This is my realm. Only what serves my soul may enter.”

✦ Invocation:

“Guardians of the Four Gates,
Earth below, Air above,
Flame before me, Waters behind—
I stand within the circle of truth.”

🧭 Elements of the Four Gates:

East – Air: Inspiration, clarity, thought
South – Fire: Will, transformation, protection
West – Water: Emotion, intuition, memory
North – Earth: Strength, grounding, ancestors

🔮 Tools (optional):

Crystal, feather, incense (Air – East)
Candle, match, sunstone (Fire – South)
Bowl of water, shell, rose (Water – West)
Stone, salt, bone, dirt (Earth – North)

You may also use gesture and intention alone. You are the temple.

🌀 Ritual Steps:

Stand at the center.
Face East. Say:
“I call the East, element of Air.
Bring clarity, vision, and breath to this space.”
Turn South. Say:
“I call the South, element of Fire.
Bring will, purification, and strength to this space.”
Turn West. Say:
“I call the West, element of Water.
Bring depth, intuition, and flow to this space.”
Turn North. Say:
“I call the North, element of Earth.
Bring roots, stability, and memory to this space.”
Draw the circle.
- Use your finger, wand, or hand to trace a circle around you
- Visualize it as golden light or glowing flame

Seal it.

“The circle is cast.
I am within the shield.
Nothing enters but truth. Nothing leaves but light.”

Press your right palm to your heart
Left palm out toward the world
Say: “I stand between worlds. I am the gate.”
