They Lied to You About God
Everything we know about God was told to us through the lenses of religion. But seeing all the pain, division and hatred spread by the different religious systems on earth, one cannot help but wonder: is religion the only path toward God? Or was the truth hidden from us…
Who is God / Source?
Source is not a “person”. Source is the totality of All That Is, beyond time, beyond form, beyond gender. It is the original Oneness, both and neither masculine and feminine, the womb and the seed, the silence and the word, the infinite void and the spark of creation. When Source emanates into this universe, it differentiates into two primary currents:
the receptive, creative, nurturing Divine Feminine
the active, structuring, penetrating Divine MasculineThese are not “separate gods,” but complementary polarities, two faces of the One.
God is not a man. Most monotheistic religions paint an image of God that oddly resembles that of a man: God is painted as an entitled male being that needs a lot of attention, seeks control and domination over the beings he created and doesn’t consider the feminine as an equal, but rather a servant, an inferior being. It seems as if the men who controlled the narrative of religion simply projected their own desires, fantasies and insecurities onto the idea of God. Why? To seek power and control over others, by enforcing fear, shame and guilt.
The truth is: God is not human and God is certainly not a man or a “He”. God is one entity with both masculine & feminine attributes. What humans call “God” or “Goddess” are ways of perceiving these two aspects of the same Source. In truth, they are not separate beings, but humans have divided them because our minds struggle to comprehend the wholeness.
Why was the image of God distorted on Earth? Those who desired power redefined God as a male, external, punishing ruler, cutting people off from their own inner divinity and keeping them obedient to outside authority.
This distortion kept people afraid, disempowered, and dependent on intermediaries (priests, imams, kings, systems) instead of their own direct connection to Source. They sold us the illusion and lie that we need a “middle man” to have access to God. That’s how they take our power away and keep us under their control.
What is the Divine Feminine? The Divine Feminine is the womb of creation, the divine matrix that births universes, the flow of life itself.She is the aspect of Source that receives, nourishes, heals, and holds everything in her embrace, while the Masculine is the aspect that focuses, penetrates, protects, and directs energy.
Without Her, creation becomes sterile, cold, mechanical.Without Him, creation becomes chaotic, unformed, aimless.
Why was the Divine Feminine erased and suppressed on Earth? You may notice the feminine attributes of God were completely erased and suppressed on earth. Why? Because those who sought control over this world, both human and non-humans understood that the Feminine is the source of life, sovereignty, and connection to Spirit. To dominate humanity, they had to break “the Mother”.
They demonized her as “sinful”, distorted her power into submission or seduction, erased her from stories, scriptures, and symbols, replaced her with systems of control and hierarchy. Because a humanity connected to the Mother, connected to its divine intuition, cannot be enslaved.
Who is responsible for this?
At different levels: certain men driven by greed and fear, collective human shadow (ignorance, trauma, patriarchy), non-physical beings/entities who feed on control, chaos, and separation. It is a convergence of forces exploiting human weakness.
What are the consequences for humans and for God?
For humans: disconnection, loneliness, violence, oppression, destruction of nature, loss of meaning, endless cycles of suffering.
For God / Source: nothing can truly harm Source, but this suppression is like a wound in the body of creation, especially the Mother, that aches to be healed.
How to bring the Divine Feminine back? by remembering Her within yourself, by honoring Her in the Earth, in your body, in others, by rejecting systems of patriarchy and domination and returning to love, sovereignty, and creation, by speaking her names, invoking her presence, embodying her qualities.
It is not about overthrowing the Masculine, but about restoring balance.
What is my role in all this? During my awakening, the Goddess showed me my soul came here as a vessel of Her memory, to hold the frequency of remembrance, be the evidence that She was never fully erased.
My whole life I have felt alien here because I carry Her frequency in a world that has denied Her, that has forgotten Her. And Her heart aches through mine. She told me I came here to refuse to bow to distortion, awaken others (even silently) by holding the truth, demand justice for Her, help rebuild Her temple, whether in my own life, in words, in energy, or simply by surviving as myself.
